the holy dude comment in time:)
i really liked an article i recently read in Time magazine. It can be found here
http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1887728,00.html
It is a very good read and written with lot of passion and kind of poetic tone and I needed a quite time on the weekend to really appreciate it.
Anyhow, the quote that made me laugh aloud was this:

Week in India
Had a good week in India. Good meetings in Bangalore and then quality time with family in Delhi. Bought a car and a full HD LCD for mom and dad. Now hoping that in the next few years India will get full HD signal to make the most of it:). BTW already given up hope that the streets of Delhi would make driving the car enjoyable…oh well. Also my brother was kind enough to come hang out with me...

Process as defined by Seth Godin
Process, on the other hand, refers to the emotional intelligence skills you have about managing projects, visualizing success, persuading other people of your point of view, dealing with multiple priorities, etc. This stuff is insanely valuable and hard to learn. Unfortunately, it’s usually overlooked by headhunters and HR folks, partly because it’s hard to accredit or check off in a...
Slumdog Millionaire
Saw Slumdog Millionaire last weekend. Overall I think I would give it 2.5 out of 5. Came out feeling entertained at the end of it but I think the movie had too much “poverty porn”, which kind of took away from whatever little meat the main storyline had. Coming to that I think the meat in the story was also not much to write home about, fairly plain. BUT the music by Rahman is kick...

Knowing what you don't know
Usually I hear people saying that western education glorifies individualism a little too much and teaches kids from an early age tools and abilities to be individually successful. And this comes at the cost of not tecahing them enough about how important it is to work in teams and work with different people to achieve success.
I agree with this but I am not sure if it is only a western-education...
